The University Neighborhood Preservation Association (UNPA) and the Barry Park Association will host the Second Annual Barry Park Fun Run on Sunday, May 17th to gather children, families & neighbors of the University community and celebrate spring (which we hopes sticks around a little bit longer!). The event will begin at 10:30 a.m. at Barry Park, near the playground. There will be a half-mile run and a 3K for older kids. The first 125 kids receive a t-shirt and metal.
Recess Coffee will be selling coffee & baked goods.
A $5 suggested donation from the run will go to support the outdoor programs and activities provided by the Barry Park Association. The run is being presented by UNPA & The Barry Park Association as a neighborhood effort to support health, family, community and buying local. Pre-registration is not required.
Time: 10:30am registration, 11am race begins
